Romeo & Juliet

For the last project ,we have to choose and remake one of the William Shakespeare's pieces. I chose "Romeo and Juliet" and picked up the scene which Romeo drunk poison because he thought that Juliet was relly dead and Juliet akwake after Romeo dead.

Rolen

Rolen is my roomate's classmate. She is a 21year old graphic student in SVA. She came to my house last weekend and we hang out together. She has really nice personality and she's so funny~!She brought us a bar which was near NYU. She had a great time at that place. There are many live singers and they makes us sing together. It was a really fun experience.. I think that she is a really interesting person. I hope that we can hang out after when we have the time.

American sculptor, Susan P. Cochran, has stirred up some interesting response here in Dubai with her giant ant(about 8 meters) colony that is digging around DIFC.
Susna explained her works' meaning.
"These ants have a social message, they work together to build a strong community just like people are doing here in Dubai," says Al Shroogi, a Dubai art supporter set to open a new gallery in May at DIFC. "This is so appropriate."

[NYT] A Boy Nameed Sue, and a Theory of Names

This article is about the name theory.
Writer asists who has weir name has a tendency to live bad life.
1. A child with an awful name might grow up to be a relatively normal adult.
2. The parent who inflicted the name does not deserve to be executed.

Studuies showed that children with odd name got worse grades and were less popular than other classmates in elementary school. In college they were more likely to flunk out or become "psychoneurotic." They were overrepresented among emotionally disturbed children and psychiatric patients.

Some of there mental problems might have been genetic.
who made their child name like a Hysteria Johnson, King Arthur, Infinity Hubbard, Please Cope, Major Slaughter, Helen Troy, several Satans, ima pigg, Ima muskrat, Ima nut and Ima Hooker.

The authors also interviewed adults today who had survived name like Cash guy, Mary Christmas, River Jordan and Rasp Berry. Those people were very proud of their names, almost overly proud," We asked if that was a reaction to getting pummeled when they were little, were there much ribbing They did ter a little tired of hearing the same jokes, but they liked having an unusual name because it made them stand out.

"Researchers have studied men with cross-gende names like Leslie" no psychological or social problems, but they have found one major positive factor: a better sense of self control.

However, when people were asked to rate the physical attractiveness and character of someone in a photograph, it didn't matter much if that someone was assigned an "undesirable"name. Once people could see a face, it doestn't matter.
"Names only have a significant influence when that is the only thing you know about person."
